Maybe I missed the bus on this and it’s old news, but I haven’t used Craigslist a whole lot. Recently I posted a couple of listings because I wanted to sell some stuff locally and saw a “download firefox” link on Craigslist. Pretty cool.

Yep, that’s been there a long while. It is awesome, though.
I met Craig Newmark at some Chris Shipley conference in Berkeley like 3 years back and I had told him we put craigslist in the Firefox default bookmarks list for th beta (we removed them for final). Told him we were big fans, blah, blah and then he showed me his Opera browser on some tiny Linux PC thing he was carrying around. That was kinda funny.
Anyway, I don’t know if I guilted him into giving us that link. Someone else had made contact with the craigslist people too. Craig is a cool dude but kinda out there. But anyway, that link has been there for a long while.
I just downloaded Firefox the other day and wil NEVER go back to IE on my personal computer.
